In 2017, active produced ‘The Kings - A Love Story’ an intimate documentary for Discovery featuring Joey and Angelina Mead King. In 2018, active added ‘Live Comedy’ to its extensive list of specialised formats and Netflix to its growing number of industry partners with the production of three comedy specials, premiering in all Netflix territories around the world. 

activeTV's flagship event in Australia, Woolworths Carols in the Domain, has been produced in-house for over 30 years and is broadcast nationally on Channel 7 to over 2 million viewers. In 2016, activeTV took under its wing South Australia's largest Christmas event, QBE Insurance Carols by Candlelight. Active also produced the kids' hidden camera hit show ‘PRANK PATROL’ for ABC TV Australia.

Aboard Genting Dream 'China's Got Talent' is a 45-minute theatrical show in the 999-seat Zodiac Theatre. It opens with an energetic, booming montage, with the same lighting, set design and theme music as the television show. Casting for the performers took place throughout China, tapping into Genting Hong Kong’s experience booking hundreds of acts for its cruise ships and entertainment venues around the world.

There is something special about the twinkle in a child’s eye with the arrival of Christmas.

First, we get the feel good peoples' pageant…with its colour, fun, excitement and of course Santa and his sleigh. Then, in what seems like no time at all, we’re getting out the rugs and the picnic gear to head off to what has become one of our city’s great traditions, Adelaide Carols by Candlelight at Elder Park. Previous artists include Leo Sayer, Taylor Henderson, Paulini Curuenavuli and Anthony Callea. 

Sunday 10 December 2017 is Carols by Candlelight presented by Adelaide City Council and the Sunday Mail. It is South Australia's largest Christmas concert and this year we celebrate the 73rd year of the event.

Tropfest 2013 was hosted by Adam Spencer and Yumi Stynes, the broadcast captures all the action of the red carpet, features the films of the 16 finalists’ and interviews with the celebrities judging and in attendance.

Past judges include Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, Geoffrey Rush, Toni Collette, Russell Crowe, Ewan McGregor, Samuel L Jackson, Baz Luhrmann, Keanu Reeves, Sam Neill, Salma Hayek, George Miller, Jane Campion and Gabriel Byrne, just to name a few.

Tropfest is open to anyone who wishes to enter.  16 finalists are selected from an entry pool of an average 700 annual entries and compete for more than $100,000 in prizes.  Tropfest films are unique in that all films made for the festival must include the Tropfest Signature Item (TSI).  The TSI changes each year in order to ensure the films have been made specifically for that year’s festival.
