Reality
The Kings
'The Kings' is a one-hour special about a power couple, Angelina Mead King and Joey Mead King as they share their emotional trials and life transitions.
"It's not exactly a documentary, and it's not a reality show either” Preview reports.
So what is it? From the pilot episode, The Kings is a little bit of both. As a reality show, it follows the daily lives of the couple and shows their personal side. As a documentary, the show gathers opinions from regular people on the street, making the show more informative and educational.
Celebrity Car Wars
Celebrity Car Wars is a fresh and exciting new series that combines the exceptional pulling power of a quality motoring show, with charismatic high profile celebrities from across Pan Asia. This well blended mix of motoring challenges and affable yet highly competitive celebrities, sees the show casting a wider audience net, attracting additional viewers who are non-traditional car show fans.
A comparison with Celebrity Car Wars style and entertainment is best aligned with TOP GEAR as opposed to MOTOR WEEK. Our host is a passionate car enthusiast, with an ability to deliver hard motoring information in an animated and entertaining manner.
The show is a real journey of development for the celebrities as they are coached and cajoled by our experts. The competitors will be trained in all manner of driving skills, along with a crash course of getting to know their cars, from capabilities to performance and maintenance. Throughout the series, viewers will engage with our Experts, who’ll not only provide running commentaries on the performances of their competitors, but will feature in a range of challenge related demonstrations, such as a high speed course navigation at the track, or tackling some rather formidable off road terrain, the right way.
Celebrity Car Wars is a carefully developed format that does combine motoring insights with celebrities, the result will be a highly entertaining series to watch. There is no doubt it will be loaded with great advice and tips for the viewers; we like to describe it as knowledge through entertainment, a motor manual osmosis!

An incorrect answer means a strike, and contestants have up to three strikes before they are booted out of the cab, no matter where they are. Contestants will have two “shout outs” for help, if they are stumped on a question. They can either call someone on a mobile phone (a ‘Mobile Shout-Out) or by asking someone on the street for help (a ‘Street Shout-Out’).

activeTV was commissioned by Movie Extra to produce an original and exclusive series showcasing the Short + Sweet Gala. Each episode goes up close and personal with various plays giving the audience an inside look at behind the scenes from early auditions to the Final Gala Night.
Australia's most creative (and brave) playwrites, directors and actors gather to perform 10 minute plays before a panel of judges, for the Short + Sweet Festival.
Filmed at the Sydney Seymour Theatre, the Short + Sweet TV series not only showcases the bite-size theatre productions, but also takes you backstage prior to the "five-minute-call" to where the real drama happens behind the curtain.
Whilst producing theatre for television has traditionally been a challenge, the series and its fly on the wall aspects, has proved a hit with Movie Extra viewers.
